I've noticed that no group of people are more suspect to the Dunning-Kruger effect than extremely successful businesspeople and entrepreneurs who decide that skill and insight (and luck) in their one field of great accomplishment makes them equally skillful in other fields. And people listen to them, making the same mistake.
