We’ve made it to the end of this year—almost.

Below you’ll find some highlights from 2022, including a new podcast that I just recorded with Jonathan Pageau for The Symbolic World, titled “Revenge of the Scapegoat”.

But first, I need your help. I plan to begin work on a new book in the coming year, and it has little to do (at least explicitly) with René Girard or mimetic theory. My question, then, is whether you think I should change the name of this publication to something that might be less limiting (even if it’s just “Luke Burgis’s newsletter”), or whether Anti-Mimetic is a great name that I shouldn’t mess with—even if it doesn’t capture the breadth of what people will find here. I welcome your feedback. (And no, I will not say “vox populi, vox Dei”…but I will take your opinion very seriously.)
